This has been an interesting story so far. It's obvious that there is a lot more going on that we don't know. Love a mystery.
I too have a bit of a problem with Clark's motivations for not confiding more in Lois. I'm not against him holding out on her, but I need to see what his reasons are. If he is to continue to hold out on her, we need to see more of his logic beyond some vague fear that she would react badly. He can't use his 'not knowing what they mean to each other' excuse anymore because it is by now clear that they are at least good friends.
