He said there was a consensual relationship and that she wanted it to be long term.

He said that, since he said 'no' to long term, she was going to go to Snodgrass and complain that it *wasn't* consensual - that it was either rape [in the it happened once sense] or sexual harassment [in the 'if you don't sleep with me over a period of time you'll regret it because I control your grade' sense]. She would be accusing him of a crime because he didn't want a relationship.

She came and made the complaint and Snodgrass helped cover it up.

*We* [and Henderson, et al? I'm not sure if they do or not] don't know which version is actually correct, though my money's on her. Either way, the relationship was inappropriate.
