He’d been waiting his whole life for this moment. No one knew these bastards like he did. He needed to get down there right away.
You can feel how perversely excited he is here. He claims to not want aliens on his planet, but without them, his whole life is pointless. That's my exact reading of Trask, and you do a fine job of capturing the essence of his character in this scene.
