I like the story very much, but this part made me take a serious pause in the story to go back an re-read things:
From my vantage point I see a half-dressed Clark come running towards the stairs to answer my plea. He has on a pair of casual shorts and nothing else. No shirt, not even any socks or shoes.
So, Clark is only wearing a pair of shorts...
I watch as Clark runs off in search of Superman, and I turn to face Mayson.
Run off to where? Back in the apartment? Out the door? I had visions of Clark leaving the apartment with only a pair of shorts on....
