It's time! We are having a Christmas ficathon this year!
If you want to participate, then get me a prompt composed of a list of 3 things you want in a story and 3 things you want left out of a story, due by 30 October!
I'll shuffle these lists up and assign them to authors on Nov 1, and then you will have 2 1/2 months to write, write, write!
Stories are due 15 Jan (because, holidays...).
I'm accepting prompts by DM on Discord, by email at veritycantare@gmail.com or in Private Message here on the Boards!
Format:
Authors will post their own stories and table of contents on this day. There are no extra challenges this year, because writing during the holidays can be challenging enough, haha.
At the end of each story, the author should include the prompt and who the story is for, like this:
2026 Christmas Ficathon for Verity
Wants:
Snarky banter
Definitely kissing
Hot chocolate
Don't Want:
Either of them with anyone else
Zebras
Jimmy Interruptus (regular Jimmy is fine)
