90stvfangirl and Songbird, thank you for the lovely comments. (Songbird, I'm so glad you liked the name Juvenilia, because I loved it too laugh

Morgana:

You're right, Lucy plays a very important role at several points in this couple's relationship. Who knows how much longer it might have taken them to get together if it hadn't been for her interference? It's somewhat similar to what Kitty did for Lara Jean in To All the Boys I've Loved Before - in the sense that the younger sisters always seem to be the ones doing all the work. Well, except for my younger sister :p

I never thought to put together bug spray amd toothpaste. Excellent imagination.

Thank you so much!!!

Now, the most important question: will there be another part to the Lane Lane series?

If you're referring to seeing Lane Kent in the future, I'm considering writing an epilogue where he'd be around ten years old. But if I decide to do that, it will take a long time (I already have a lot of other projects to organize and write). The main series is complete, though. Maybe you missed parts 5 and 6? Here's the >TOC<, just in case you'd like to take a look.

Oh, that’s what you are planning on doing with that ominous summary quote. Lois is going to de-bug her apartment, thinking that bug-spray can be used to destroy listening devices. She opens a can of poisonous gas and almost dies as she waits for the bugs to shorten out in the cloud of noxious gas.

Well, there goes my entire plot XD

She often spends several hours relaxing as she’s waiting for a henchman to return and untie her or try and dispose of her in the river or some such. Nothing much you can do during that time.

That's also quite an efficient use of time. She can practice breathing exercises and meditation. These tips come straight from the article, "What to Do While You're Being Held Hostage in a Shed: Transcend the Physical Realm and Evolve as a Human Being Through Spiritual Enlightenment." She wrote it herself, based on her own experiences.

And you told us that Lois is opening up the Daily Planet to a lawsuit by her taking sexual advantage of a direct reportee.

rotflol good luck to HR sorting that one out.

There’s also a very … memorable scene on the dark side of the boards about Lois jumping up and down on a bed in front of Clark after finding a cockroach in their motel. I think that was in Dirty Pool...

Oooh. Stories that use cockroaches as narrative devices have a special place in my heart. (Hmm, that was a little too specific. And weird. But I'll read it for sure.)

Oh dear. Now, we do not want to call Claude a cockroach. Or Kyle Griffin.

So, two weeks ago, assuming they went out every weekend?

At this point, I've completely lost track of my own timeline LOL

I did not expect this. Thought she was wearing thick flannel pajamas with long sleeves.

Fair assumption. But a writer has to do what a writer has to do... whistle

In kind?

Indeed. What if his mother had warned him about them Big City Hussies giving it up left and right?

See? That's why the first kiss took so long to happen grin

Thank you so much for your comments <3 I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. I'll get to the comments on the later parts as soon as I have more time - hopefully sometime this week.

Stories are written by the victors.
(Hmm, come to think of it, that's not the exact quote...)
