If he wasn’t going to tell her what he should have already told her, she wasn’t going to offer him any information either.

I have to ask one question.

Why does Lois think she has the right to know Clark's greatest secret? Has she ever thought that maybe he is trying to protect her and others by not telling her? After all, it is a dangerous secret to know and downright difficult to keep!

At least, half her attention would be on the bank records.

The other half would be on the televisions mounted to one wall of the bullpen, and specifically on whichever news channel was covering the ongoing hostage situation.

Because she’d been the person that had made it harder for Superman to get to that rescue.

So if anything happened to any of the hostages…

It would be her fault.

Yes, it would be. This time Lois you aren't thinking. Please try to get pass your issues and let Clark do his 'Pizza Runs'!

Awesome series! How are you going to wrap it up? help

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
