Thank you once again for following me along this ride.
Story behind the title. When I first started it, I was aiming for a scene where Lois & Clark are dating but end up handcuffed together. The sexual tension is there, but he hasn't told her his BIG secret yet. (An episode of Castle where Beckett & Castle are handcuffed together was my idea). But I wanted a story also where my love of American football was presented, especially with someone from Lois's past in college. I figured she had to have tutored some athletes. And what if one of those boys she tutored became the coach and needed her help? Scandal at the university in the city where Lois and Clark live. I think Lois would try to figure it out.
The tight end part of the title came from the positions all the most important guys in the story played - tight ends: Clark, Jonah, and Everett all played the same position on the team.
Of course, the story didn't go quite as planned. I remembered a storyline of Superman & Lois where they went sort of this route, but I didn't want it to be too obvious until later. Enjoy.
