Lois sat up in bed, the dream already slipping away like so much sand in an hour glass. But there was one fact which lingered long enough for her to grab ahold of it and recognize it for the truth.
“Clark is Superman.”
Okay, that's done. Now, though, what will she do with this little factoid? I mean, she already knew that Clark loved her, so now that she knows that CK=S, will she be able to amalgamate the two personalities in her own mind? How (unreasonably) angry will she be at her husband for keeping this from her? Will her old/new memories come back or will she have to dream them first? Will she be able to blend (or even overwrite) her current disdain for Clark with her newly remembered love for him?
At least the dream tells us that the new memories aren't completely gone, just blocked somehow. Maybe this one piece of knowledge will allow her to remember living her life over again and let her remember her love for Clark without crushing her psyche.
It should be a whiz-bang ultimate chapter. So where is it? Enquiring minds want to know!
