I loved the Martha/Jonathan interactions. They are so well in completing each other.
I think it's perfectly normla that Martha has all the insecurities. This if a new and terrifying situation for her as much as it is for Clark, albeit for other reasons. And her being so afraid she could do anything wrong is just more proof how much seh cares.
Clark is still in sensation that these people, GASP!, seem to CARE about him and what he wants. Weird though, that, how can they?
Aaand they slowly start to crack his shell. Seems like food esp. desserts is a love language for every Clark/Kal of yours, huh?
So, Martha takes care of Clark, Jon takes care of the papers and stuff. Yay for Work sharing!
Also, random thought: I was wondering, since this Clark will def need a lot of comfort and such, whether Finn is gonna show up in this one too, but apparently not.?
So, Mrs. Jones is next, I assume. That should be an...interesting visit for everyone involved.
Still enjoying this (like it's super sad but also there's hope...)
