Since this is the perfect opportunity to confess... well... I use Julie as my pen name and nickname whenever I get the chance to use a name that isn't my real name, not because I think all of you are axe murderers and psychos that will come after me (though my mother might think otherwise
), but because I hate my name.
I don't know many people who hate it to this degree, but I think I might even legally change it when I am old enough. Since I can't really make my family call me Julie and it would be a mess to make RL people get used to it, I leave it for later.
