I really hate the series of ads for Kleenex Velvet toilet paper which has this creepy little kid wandering around in a business suit, running the company. Reminds me way too much of the little kid in Pet Semetary.

I tried hard to find a link to one of the ads, but couldn't. But I did discover I'm apparently not alone as I found a multitude of blogs all going - is that kid creepy or what?!? laugh

I share the loathing of the lawyers ad. And all of those 'did you fall over? Sue the hell out of someone!" ads which clog up daytime TV.

I'm sure that there are current ads I like, but all that came to mind were old ones:

The John West Salmon Fight With Kung Fu Bear

Olympus Tough Toddler Camera Ad

Cadbury\'s Gorilla Ad

There was an ad I loved a bit back for a little car that acted like a puppy - back windscreen wipers going for a tail wagging and that kind of thing which was cute. Couldn't find a link to that one either, sadly. Mostly because I'm a hopeless consumer and can never remember what brand an ad is for, even when it's one I like!

I tend to go for ads which use humour to make their play. Also clever ads:

The Honda Accord Cog Ad

Also love the Andrex puppy ads because, of course, they remind me of Homer when he was a pup. My favourite is the one of the couple making the bed. But this was the only one I could find a link to:

Andrex Puppy Christmas Ad

And talking of Christmas ads - here are two which made me chuckle in the last couple of years:
Oxfam/Mastercard Alpaca Ad
Irn Bru/Snowman Ad

LabRat smile

Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly.
Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.
