(NOTE: No, I'm not skipping Mother's Day)
I've discovered I have a lot of songs about family on my computer. I've decided to divide them into sections and make cds for my immediate family. This is is the "Fathers and Sons" part.
Creed - With Arms Wide Open
Elton John - Blessed
The Game - Like Father, Like Son
Will Smith - Just The Two Of Us
Josh Groban - You Raise Me Up
You've Got A Friend In Me (from the Toy Story Soundtrack)
Cat Stevens - Father And Son
The Temptations - Papa Was A Rolling Stone
Billy Joel - Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel)
(Lion King, Broadway Soundtrack) Circle of Life
(Lion King, Broadway Soundtrack) Endless Night
(Lion King, Broadway Soundtrack) He Lives in You
Luther Vandross - Dance With My Father
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Elton John - The Last Song b/w a Father and His Son
Josh Groban - Remember Me (from the Troy Soundtrack)
My plan is to burn the cd and give a copy to my dad and my brother (a father of four - all boys so far) for Father's Day with a CD booklet containing the lyrics and my reason for including the song. I'm willing to buy a few more songs if the one's I have seem odd. I'm looking for feedback on the order and the song choice. Does anyone have any suggestions?
