Well, my nick origin is boring... but then there's the irony.
Rivka is my first name. It's Hebrew for Rebecca. The ironic thing is that when I was in school (elementary thru HS), I was one of _four_ Rivkas. (Religious school, obviously.) But online, I can almost always use rivka, or at least rivkag. (My middle name is Gila, which means joy. So a translation of my name would be Rebecca Joy.
