Well, I managed to get an email address for a magazine and sent off my story. It's been at least a week though, and I haven't heard a peep from them; rejection or otherwise!
I think I can handle rejection, but dead silence I just don't know what to do with. It's one of the reasons I've never successfully gotten a job yet.
Also, writing seems to pay nothing, and yet all of these people seem to want my money. What's up with that?
