I'm convinced. I withdraw my suggestion of posting the story to the archives, and I won't offer it again.
But I'm still interested in reading this story if that's at all possible. Is it a viable and ethical course of action for someone to email a copy of it to me, or would the sharing of such a story in this fashion also be against the grain?
I'm prepared to live with disappointment.
