Ad Astera per Aspera, absolutely. This is the only story that ever made me cry. And I don't mean just teary-eyed. I mean real, loud, need-a-hankie, gasping sobs. The kind that made my husband come running into the room, convinced that I had just learned my grandmother had died or something equally horrible. When I tell you that I cry maybe once a year, you will understand how deeply this story touched me.
