Julie, we didn't mean that he was affected by the pheremone. He used the fact that he'd been sprayed as an excuse to kiss Lois, under the cover that she'd think he was affected - that's well-understood canon. And, yes, he did wink to camera. And that's all we meant: that he couldn't resist taking the opportunity to steal a kiss in circumstances where Lois couldn't possibly take it seriously.
Okay then... I guess I should've understood it that way, he didn't say he was affected.
He just said he couldn't control himself when she sprayed him.
