Another powerful instalment.
Poor Lois, she is still so screwed up. Unless there is some outside catalyst, I can't see Lois getting past her past enough to have any sort of meaningful relationship with Clark. Her 'healing' is just too slow (which is understandable and logical). Left to a natural progression of trust and disassociation, it will take years for Lois to move beyond skittish friendship.
I really think Lex is going to have to play a part in this. Galvanize her thoughts and actions. Maybe she will be forced to confront her fears in order to save Clark. Something's gotta give or Lois is going to be one lonely gal for a long time.
