Hello all,
The idea for this story amused me, so I thought I'd write it up and share it, in the hopes of amusing you all, as well.
As always, all feedback welcomed.
One additional credit: the "Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel" line was taken from the campy Batman television show from the 1960s, starring Adam West.

This gave me a chuckle. Yep, 'Superman Saves Lois Lane' would cease to be news after a while. Now, if Lois Lane saved Superman ...

Hello all and thank you for your feedback. Annie B. wrote, Now, if Lois Lane saved Superman ... "Man bites dog," so to speak? Lara, it is pretty amazing how quickly news becomes old. I don't know the extent to which this is true in other countries, but here in the U.S., people do tend to crave novelty. Virginia, under the fold or maybe even on an inside page. (Lois would *not* be happy about either one, though.) Laura, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Clark should be more careful to distribute his exclusives more widely, lest people start connecting dots he doesn't want connected. Morgana, I'm glad that is was "mission accomplished" with you. Hi Lynn! Another chuckle!  “Gimme a sec to look at the headlines…Definitely The Star.” What the…? Is Linda posing as Page-3 girl and they announce it in the headline? LOIS: That would be the one… “That’ll be sixty cents. You seem to be getting that one more often lately. Out of curiosity, why the switch?” Better price/quality for the birdcage liner? “Haven’t you noticed? Lately, it seems, The Planet just runs variations on the same headline two, maybe three, times a week: Superman Saves Lois Lane. That might have been news the first hundred times.
