She expected that she would have to spin a tale to some unsuspecting guard about a drunken guest in need of being discreetly escorted off the premises. Serves him right for replacing Lois with a clone on her wedding day to Clark (even if he hasn't done that yet)! I'm also waiting, not so patiently, for Lois to take a closer look at the disguised Superman. She has to be just seconds away from figuring out his secret. I wonder what her reaction will be. I'm sure I've seen stories where Lois found out soon enough after the whole "I'd love you even if you were an ordinary man" thing for her guilt to temper some of her anger, but I don't think that's ever been mixed with her knowing the reason he abandoned her was that he was locked up in a cage. This sincerely seems like a situation where the Lane temper may not be used. But of course, you've left us at a very bad place. Quote “And now we just have to walk out the door. How hard can this be…” Come on, Lois. This isn't your first time doing something like this. How often is it easy?
