Why do I always stumble upon these kind of stories just ten minutes before bedtime? I hope it's pretty short, or I may have to wait until tomorrow.

Elisabeth
who has mixed emotions--do I grumble at the late hour or hyper knowing a Nanfic is out?

Nan, you can't leave it there! So what happens next? (Turns on whiny, kid voice.) Tell me, huh? Pretty, please. Just tell me a little bit-- No, a whole lot.

Very enjoyable! I am glad that Valerie caught it on camera so Lois and Clark would have grounds for a lawsuit against that little brat!

Clark: "You don't even know the meaning of the word 'humility,' do you?"

Lois: "Never had a need to find out its meaning."

Well, this particular trio of stories (A Tasteful Lesson, Too Hot to Handle and The Sting) is sort of an adjunct to the Dagger series, so you'll be bound to hear more eventually. I can't just say exactly when. I'm working on the sequel to The Hottest Team in Town right now -- the plot, that is -- and it's not easy to find time to write during the Christmas season. This story had been sitting half-finished on my hard drive for weeks and I'd actually forgotten about it. I was fishing around through my story folder, yesterday, and came across it, so I bounced a few ideas off my in-house technical adviser (that would be Chuck) and finished it last night. Sooner or later, however, I'll probably get around to writing another short story that ties everything up neatly.

Yay, more Nanfic. Looking forward to the next. I'm just re-reading 4-Days to be ready for the conclusion.
