Wow.
Despite knowing the WHAM was coming, and even anticipating the identity of the victims, actually reading it packed a real whallop. A few tears got away from me - the characters leapt off the page at me as I imagined their pain and despair.
I'm very curious to see where this is all going. Angst-ridden stories are favorites of mine, and you've given a very plausible and well-drawn set-up to explore what will obviously be a darker side to Clark's character than we're accustomed to. A bumpy ride that I'm definitely looking forward to.
