eek! eek

Hope Brian's been paying attention...

It's moments like these that remind me just how evil Luthor is. So, while I do really want (and, truthfully, expect) for L & C to survive somehow, can we still let Lex be a sidewalk pizza? Please?

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Um Brian...Now would be a good time to show up. Or maybe Clarks powers could kick in. Laura

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.

I'm a little nervous about it, so please give me any suggestions you may think of to improve the reality of the situation.
I think I can help dizzy
Let Brian or Clark save Lois from becoming bug splat or as Pam calls it 'sidewalk pizza' rotflol

Seriously, I'm not sure how you can improve on great writing. Luthor has to be a little 'overzealous' and thus, overwritten to get Lois and Clark to the balcony. His desire to 'marry' Lois as a way of possessing her, and keeping Clark alive as way of controlling her, makes sense.

Henderson coming into save the day also works.

So, only improvement I can see is to end it with Brian saving them (which means that Clark doesn't have to reveal himself) or Clark saving them and hiding the revelation.

Up to you...
And have fun baby-sitting

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

cat

I was fascinated, too, by Luthor's proposal - a ménage a trois, in effect! eek So, if Henderson hadn't shown up, would Lois really have accepted? That would have been very interesting as the next story in the series... wink

Lois: Can I go?
Clark: No.
Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go.
Clark: Then why do you ask?
Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

Great part. It is very cunning from Lex to know that Lois cares for Clark so much that Lex can make Lois marry him and live with him in order to save Clark. Hopefully, that can give Clark some hints about Lois's feelings towards him.

After Brian rescues Lois and Clark and Clark and Superman are seen in the same time, nobody will ever suspect Clark is Superman (at least after Luthor is dead).

Well, we all know that Clark's powers will return gradually, and flight is always the last one to return, so he won't be effecting any rescues.

That leaves the annoying brat, Brian. But what Nan forgot to tell everyone is that Brian is currently at Dr. Klein's lab undergoing the process that will save him, but also removes his powers. So, the lad won't be able to come save the day.

Hmmmm, could be messy.

Tank (who can see a situation where Clark's invulnerability comes back enough to save him from death, but he's badly injuried... Lois is not so lucky)

Great story, Nan. Well constructed, as usual.
