Virtually Destroyed, when Clark was explaining why he was still a vir ... very patient man.

So was this asked out of curiosity, or are we starting a new game? <g>

It was just out of curiosity, but we can make it a game.

So, who want's to make the rules?

YAY! I love games!!! So is it gonna be just a quote game? You know someone posts a quote and who ever gets the correct ep it's there turn to post a quote?
Posted By: Cristina Re: Which episode was it? - 02/19/04 04:16 PM
That sounds good to me. But, when answering, do we say who's speaking and ep? Or also who he/she is talking to? Or do we let the person posting the quote choose?

Cris
Posted By: Julie S Re: Which episode was it? - 02/19/04 08:17 PM
Usually we just need to identify the episode, unless otherwise stated, but most people identify the context anyway. So just do whetever the person that asked the question says. Someone post a quote!

*thinks* Actually, I'll start:
"Where were you at five AM?"

What episode, who says it to whom, and what scene?

Julie
Posted By: Cristina Re: Which episode was it? - 02/20/04 02:51 PM
I'd say it's Lois to Clark, but no clue as to which ep it is. Don't we get a hint?

Cris
Posted By: Julie S Re: Which episode was it? - 02/20/04 07:36 PM
I'm bad at giving clues that don't give away too much... I'll only say the ep had to do with intergang. laugh

Individual Responsibility?
Posted By: Julie S Re: Which episode was it? - 02/20/04 08:52 PM
Nope. smile
Posted By: Quel Lane Re: Which episode was it? - 02/20/04 08:54 PM
Isn't that And The Answer Is when that police guy showed up at the Planet asking where Clark was because a jewlery store was robbed the night before by a guy who looked like him and Lois answered he was with her?

Right ep, wrong scene. smile

Julie
Posted By: Quel Lane Re: Which episode was it? - 02/21/04 02:06 PM
Well so it's And The Answer Is.../me thinks about the scene...hummm wasn't it when Lois showed up at Clark's apartment after she had seen him entering the jewlery store and she asks him where was he at five AM? I can't remember Clark's answer right now though but maybe it was this scene.

Raquel (who hopes she is right this time laugh )

I think the eo is not And the answer is but Individual responsability... I went through the script for ATAI and found nothing,so...

Cris
Posted By: Julie S Re: Which episode was it? - 02/21/04 09:12 PM
Oh my god. I feel stupid. No, it wasn't And the Answer Is. It wasn't Individual Responsibility either, though. It's in the third season. And doen't have anything to with Intergang either. Sorry, FoLCS, I knew I should have double checked...

I'm SO sorry!

"You watch TV?"

Which episode?
Who to whom?
Posted By: SuperRoo Re: Which episode was it? - 02/22/04 09:20 AM
Lois to Superman.

episode..........arugh. maybe it will come to me. nope.
Posted By: Ank. K. S. Re: Which episode was it? - 02/22/04 09:22 AM
Nope.

ok let me give u a BIG hint: it's not Lois laugh
Posted By: Ank. K. S. Re: Which episode was it? - 02/24/04 09:01 PM
C'mon, its not *that* tough evil peep

Need another hint? cool
Posted By: HatMan Re: Which episode was it? - 02/24/04 10:56 PM
you know, you're right. it isn't that tough if you think about who is concerned with TV and if you happen to have a way to check your guesses... came up with a few wrong ones, but then realization struck.

it's diana stride, to superman, in "top copy."

so... new quote...

"help, superman!!"

oh, wait. lois said that a few times, too, didn't she?

uhm...

"we used to have to wrap his presents in lead foil..."

oops. wrong show. okay...

"so you unleashed an army of evil robotic hamsters?!"

hmm... you know, i don't think anyone ever said that. i could be wrong, but just to be sure, maybe i should find something else.

let's see if anyone recognizes this:

"Does the superheroes union cover expenses?"

who said it to whom, and when?

This may not be right, and seeing as how I'm not exactly in a frame of mind to do any thinking right now, it's probably wrong but...Lois to Clark in Ultrawoman.

Lois to Clark in Ultra Woman, after her heels get burnt while stopping an out of control truck.

Ok, which episode? And who is speaking?

I suppose I'll just have to carry you across the threshold.
Posted By: Cristina Re: Which episode was it? - 02/26/04 04:29 AM
Clark in Honeymoon in Metropolis?

Cris
Posted By: Ank. K. S. Re: Which episode was it? - 02/26/04 07:48 AM
No, NOT season one
Posted By: Jess Re: Which episode was it? - 02/29/04 11:01 AM
Clark to Lois in "Ordinary People"!

But I think that the quote that i am referring too is just a little different than what you posted.

Lois: I thought you said no scooping
Clark: This isnt scooping, this is carrying. I am carrying you over the threshold.
Posted By: Ank. K. S. Re: Which episode was it? - 02/29/04 11:12 AM
No, not ordinary ppl, but I'll give a clue:

You are in the correct season
Posted By: Ank. K. S. Re: Which episode was it? - 03/07/04 08:27 PM
Hey, what happened? huh
Posted By: Cristina Re: Which episode was it? - 03/10/04 01:21 AM
How about another clue?
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Which episode was it? - 03/10/04 03:07 AM
I'm torn between "I now pronounce you..." and "Double Jeopardy"

/me wonders if the couple is Lois and Clark or else. I mean, well... confused

Well, I don't know what clue I can give you which won't highlight the answer... laugh

All I can say is, that it is the third season, (I think that's hint enough), and...

well, keep trying, I'm sure someone will get it sooner or later.

In the meanwhile, I'll think of a clue... evil
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Which episode was it? - 03/10/04 06:04 AM
that means I'm wrong...right?

this isn't heping at all. Is one right or do I have to dig a little deeper?

Carole smile1

PS: gotta zoom back to beat deadlines so, if one of both is right, next guesser can have my turn.
Posted By: Ank. K. S. Re: Which episode was it? - 03/10/04 06:21 AM
Ok, its either I Now Pronounce You or Double Jeopardy wink I think that's hint enough, yeah? smile
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Which episode was it? - 03/10/04 06:26 AM
Okay then (me crush fingers), I'll go for Double Jeopardy.
Posted By: Ank. K. S. Re: Which episode was it? - 03/10/04 06:30 AM
Bravo! Right ! thumbsup

It's Double Jeopardy, and it's Lex Luthor in the guise of the Church Deacon telling an unconscious Lois, while dragging her to his hideout.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Which episode was it? - 03/10/04 06:36 AM
thanks!

I knew it wasn't a Clark to Lois think.

well, like I said, next person coming around can have my turn 'cause I won't have time to come here and check the answers.

Ok, How about...

Public education's a wonderful thing.

Which episode?
Who is the speaker?
Posted By: Sheila Re: Which episode was it? - 03/11/04 10:40 AM
Anyone...

Isn't there a story somewhere that begins with Lois being the one in love with Clark and Clark being non-chalant and not really acting interested in her? Or am I just having a TIA (transient ischemic attack). Please, if anyone knows, what's the title so I can read it.
huh

Lois feared that she was falling for him. Clark Kent - a name she said with disdain only a few months ago - was rapidly becoming a good friend with the distinct possibility of being more. For her, anyway.
Could you be referring to Gone in a Flash: An Alternate Adventure of Lois and Clark by Betsy?
Posted By: ChiefPam Re: Which episode was it? - 03/11/04 11:02 AM
whee, talk about your thread drift! goofy Sheila, you'll get more people to see your question if you post it in the Fanfic Related folder. But in the meantime... I think you may be looking for Roadtrekking, by ML Thompson and Gerry Anklewicz smile
