This is from "The Dad Who Came in From the Cold." Clark and Lois have been invited to dinner by Jimmy's dad (along with Jimmy, of course). The conversation leads Clark to become suspicious of Jack, who's employed by NIA, so he x-rays Jack's clothing to find all sorts of weapons.

Chip Off the Old Clark and he's talking to his folks? Martha and Jon were like, "Blah blah, you don't have a son, it's laughable really!" And then they're like, "How's Lois?" And Clark's like, "Not laughing." That last line always gets me.

"The Dad Who Came in from the Cold" is the episode. Lois and Clark are talking about children. Clark has just asked her if she thinks they'll make good parents.

Lois says something like, "When the time comes, I mean you will be for sure, and I'll probably catch on."

Then comes the smooch.
