I'm looking for a story, or possibly a series, that starts with an adult Kal-El coming to earth to choose a bride because he's either allowed or required to choose a woman from a different culture/planet, and he chooses Lois. I think she was out to dinner with Lex as a recipient of a Luthor scholarship, and Kal shows up just in time to rescue her from being assaulted in the back of the limo.

The story/series goes on to describe Kryptonian culture & Lois's adaptation to it, as well as the developing relationship between the two of them.
