I seem to recall a fic where Superman was blinded and therefore Clark couldn't go into work at the Planet and perhaps was going to resign because he could therefore no longer conceal The Secret. I thought it may be related to the episode 'The Eyes Have It' but I could be wrong on that count.

Does anyone remember a fic like that?

Pedendang started on one like that. It's called Blind Faith, and it's on the boards, but not in the archive. It isn't finished, though. I think RL has gotten to her for now.
