In L/C canon, we have Rachel and Lana.

In Superman canon - afaik - we also have Pete.

I'm blanking on any other friends from Smallville mentioned on the show and the only other names I know are from the show Smallville [like Chloe] which I don't really know anything about and no clue if she's canon [don't think she is].

Are there any other friends of Clark mentioned either in the show or fairly common in Superman canon? I need a female name in particular...

Aside from Lana I really don't think there are any other female friends from Clarks youth mentioned in canon. There is ofcourse Lori Lemaris, they were buds but she was a mermaid, not sure how well that would for you.

For now I've gone with a non-Kryptonian cousin named Kara.

But that's subject to change.

Teenage Clark had a love interest called Lisa Davis in some Superboy stories. She was from Smallville, so they must have been friends since childhood.

Supergirl is also known as Linda Lee or Linda Danvers.
