So Jimmy has a serious girlfriend...

I know there are those who [rightly?] think that Babe or Baby, for instance, is out of character for Clark, but what about Jimmy?

Honey? Sweetie? Pookie? Little Tornado? Babe?

Something else entirely?

TIA smile .

I think "babe" is totally in character for Jimmy. I've got a feeling he even called one of his girlfriends that on the show - but don't quote me on it...

Hmm. He referred to the lady from Chip Off the Old Clark as a "babe" if it helps. That's a decent argument for likelihood, I think.

He also refers to Vixen as both "BABE" and "CHICK"

then corrects himself infront of Lois to--
GAL/Girl.... Woman!

Hmm... I think what Jimmy might say about a woman and to a woman might be different. I don't think he'd call a woman he just met 'babe'. But I think he'd get all soft and mushy around his girlfriend and might call her baby.
