this one I read absolutely ages ago... as in about 2-3 years ago...

I know i don't have much to go on, but after reading a lot of stories two or three times since I became addicted to fanfic, this one I have only seen the one time...


set in S2 (I think???? was so long ago- could be S1 or 3 but more likely 2)

Clark goes home to help with the harvest,
and the only scene I remember is Lois running across the wheat fields and climbing into the cabin of the harvester with CK
it is in the cabin of the harvester where they resolve their differences( I think??)


does anyone have any suggestions....

the harvester is a definite feature of the story, but I don't remember anything else about the story line,,.,..

Could be Dawning 9 by Debby Stark. I just used the Archive's search feature to look for "harvester" and this seems to fit with what you described.

It is from the Dawning series. Story 9 sounds about right.

To bad only about half the series was ever uploaded to the Archives.

wow that's a long story...

I do remember reading it and being very disappointed when there was no closure/conclusion because not all the last chapter on the archive was obviously not the last inn the story...
