Does anyone know how high the buildings are? How many stories?

Thanks

I haven't found the exact number yet, but I'm still looking.

What I *did* find, is that the Daily Planet building has 50 stories (according to the pilot's script) and Luthor states that his tower is the tallest building in the city, so it's got more than 50 stories for sure.

Going back to hunt for more info...

I'm sorry, unfortunately I can't remember which ep I read or heard this in... but at some point Lex mentions that LexCorp is 1500 feet tall. So I guess that would equate to around 150 stories, wouldn't it?

I'll see if I can locate that little snippet...

***EDITED***

I went to the scripts and found it. It is in the 1st season in "Ides of Metropolis". This is what the script says (directly quoted):

LUTHOR (Cont'd)
This clay pigeon weighs two ounces.
We are on the one hundred and
twentieth floor, approximately
fifteen hundred feet above street
level. Considering the G force and
the speed... if the object hit the
pavement, or some hapless passer-by,
it would make contact at about two
hundred miles per hour. My guess is
that it would, unfortunately, kill
him or her, instantly.
(beat, with a smile)
I never miss.

So "approximately" 1500 feet up and on the 120th floor. <g>

Ha! DJ, you're brilliant! I googled that and found it. smile

From the Ides of Metropolis:

Lex is with Clark in the Penthouse (which presumably is the top floor) and he says:
We are on the one hundred and twentieth floor, approximately fifteen hundred feet above street level.

Hee hee. Actually, Lara, I think we posted our answers about the same time. I had a jump on you, though, because I had researched this very topic before - when I was writing 'Help Not Wanted'. <g>

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hmmm... There was another recent thread that had the same info posted about Lex Towers, but I can't remember what it was in relation to. Hmmm.... I'm thinking DJ answered that one, too...
