I'm stuck. blush

I don't understand this instruction:

1. Type: the URL of your story part

Does that mean that first you paste the url of the story then put it between brackets followed by Part X and then you add /URL between brackets?

confused

Do it the easy way:

When you make a new post/reply, you see these buttons below the window you're typing in. URL, Email, Bold, Italics and so on.. Click URL and then another window pops up. Just paste the site address in there, and then type in the name, and you're all set!

Ursie, literally you type (but using [ ] instead of { } - if I used [ ] you wouldn't see what I was doing):

{URL=http://www.lcficmbs.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=reply;f=5;t=000348}Part 1{/URL}

It will look like this:
Part 1

The URL you need to include, of course, is the URL which shows on the page where your story part is.

Thanks, Pel, I never thought about using the url box when you type in a post. I took the word 'type' in the instructions literally. :rolleyes:

Wendy, it worked!! laugh Thank you!

(me scurries away to WRITE this down)
