Wanda, have you looked at Zoomway's site? http://www.redboots.net It's the definitive Superman site on the internet.

And after that public service announcement... goofy

We don't know Lois's birthday -- I think we heard her astrological sign in one of the eps, but I can't remember what it was. Clark's birthday was shown as May 17th (in Tempus Fugitive). In the comics, he'd always had a leap year (Feb 29) birthday, but that's one of just many things that the show "adjusted" for their version. smile

But if you have the time to search, Zoom's site will have answers for every question you've got, plus lots of questions you hadn't thought of. She's a one-woman encyclopedia.

I always thought Clark's birthday was February 28, though I knew in the show he was found on May 17. I assumed it was one of those things you just accept without an explanation. laugh

It was Libra, I recall Lois telling Star when she unsuccessfully tried to guess her astrological sign. I think it was in Contact, but I'm not sure.

Following up and clarifying what Pam said ...

We do know Clark's birthday -- it's February 28, 1966 (Never on Sunday). As Pam mentioned, his birthday has historically been Feb 29 in the comics, but 1966 wasn't a leap year and they wanted Clark to be the same age as Dean. This makes Clark a Pisces (Feb 20-March 20). (May 17, 1966 was the date the Kents discovered Clark's spaceship -- it was not his birthday.)

Lois was born in October 1967 (Tempus Anyone). We don't know the exact date but she says in Contact that she's a Libra (Sept 23-Oct 23), which puts her birthday in the first 3 weeks of October.

I don't remember where I read/heard/whatever this, but I remember something about Clark's birthday being given to him because they didn't know when he was really born. Something about his apparent age when they found him. <g> In TF, the baby they found wasn't a newborn, so...

They would've had to put a birthdate on his adoption papers, produce a birth certificate, and nobody'd believe that he was a newborn when he looked like he was 3-4 months old. <shrug>

Yes, I think this is probably exactly what happened, though it was never stated in the show. Clark just gives is bday as Feb 28, 1966 in Never On Sunday and that's the only mention. The rest makes sense, but the details must come from fanfic or the comics, since it wasn't stated explicitly on the show itself.
