Inspiration or Insanity

Thoughts they swirl , in my head it seems
Weaving their way till consciousness streams
Everything relates, everything connects
Like a jig saw of ideas, in concert finding rest.
My brain cries out, in pleasure and joy
As ideas grow , spawn more which with to toy.

Is it inspiration, muse cheering by my side?
The choirs of angels driving force of my mind
Is it insanity that is brewing all these thoughts?
Illusionary moments of genius brought.

Fine lines I tread as creation grows
So much now that the world will never know
To live day to day no time to express
But my head is bursting with this mess
My brain cries out, I want to share
But the writers landscape remains spotted, bare

Is it inspiration, muse cheering by my side

Both perhaps, I begin to think
As in this maddened stupor I sink
The muses words, the angels song
Filling my mind until for blankess it longs
No expression, no release,
Reality will my sanity.. cease….


(just the ramblings of.. someone frustrated that they don't actually find the time to write the complete swirl of thoughts going through their mind...I always think of ideas to write stories to expand unfortunately they never make their way past the plottings of my brain, sometimes my best friend gets the earful of my inspirations very rarely have I ever finished a story)

Rambling? Hardly! I thought it was great! I know exactly how that feels! You know you have something *great* inside your mind that you're just dying to write down and share with the world, but when you sit to write, nothing happens. You captured that feeling very well! And I'm sorry to hear that you can't find the time to write. I hope one of these days, we'll be able to see one of your stories!
