so, Karl can rad the unreadable race...Very useful.
The language thing is nice too. Reminds me of Cypher (Doug Ramsy) for the Marvel comic New Mutants. He was a mutant that could understand any language, written or spoken with only hearing/seeing a small sample of the language.
