We are hoping to post one challenge per week! Your response can be either PG or Nfic. Make sure you include the challenge number somewhere in your author's note when responding. Anyone who would like to volunteer or suggest challenges, please feel free to email or PM any member of KCOM and we will do our best to add it!

Challenge #1:

Someone other than Tempus or HG Wells travels through time and accidentally changes something in Clark's past. What is it? (Can be serious, or funny).

Okay everyone, here's challenge #2!

Challenge 2 (Dialogue prompt): Use this dialogue in your fic and build your story around it.

"How long have you been standing there?"

"Longer than you'd like"

I am so sorry for not posting a challenge last week. I wasn't feeling well. Because I didn't post one, I am going to post TWO this week!

Challenge #3: dialogue prompt: Write a fic where the following dialogue appears somewhere in the fic:

"You didn't seriously...?"
"Yep"
"You just...?"
"Yep"
"Does that mean...?"
"Quite probably."

(Don't mind me in here doing some housekeeping so that Michael can collect challenge stories more easily for the Kerth eligibles list next year... aka, having each challenge be its own reply.)


Challenge #4: A mysterious package is left on Lois' doorstep. What is it? Who left it there and why?

Alrighty here, it is, Challenge #5!

What song was #1 the year you turned 5? Look at the music charts and find whatever song was at the top that year. Somehow you need to build your fic around this song. It can be by theme, use the lyrics, or even include the song in the story. Good luck!

Kerth Challenge #6:

It's Lois and Clark's first __________ as a married couple. What would they do? How would they celebrate? (Pick any holiday here -- Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, 4th of July or Arbour Day)

Kerth Challenge #7:

For challenge #7, choose the 7th episode of any one of the seasons and write an episode adaptation, re-write, fix-it or in betweenie for that episode!
