Anyway, to give it a bit more setup: To start with a sad occurrence: Beatrice (the elderly actress from the Pilot theater) had a medical situation and can't make it. (Maybe Tempus causes a heart attack to throw a monkey wrench into things and break up Lois and Superman without alerting HG Wells). This leads to Clark not getting a feel-good story and thus no job at the Planet. Instead, he ends up at the Met Star. Now for the second alteration, Linda King's already at the Met Star or starts around the same time as Clark. In the end, Clark still becomes Superman (probably due to the Messenger situation) but the big exclusive interview goes to Linda King. Lois doesn't take that situation too well.
This and that:
* Lois might or might not end up on the shuttle, likely because without Clark, there are a couple more unexpected hurdles in the investigation.
* Lois still catches Lex's eye, but without the added Superman connection, he might just lose interest much sooner.
* Preston Carpenter is still there and does his best to create headlines.
So, what do you guys think?
