I was kicking around a website of writing exercises, and one particular random prompt seemed good enough to share:

Someone goes to turn on the light, and finds it's not working. Why?

I have an easy answer to it (not a story answer though). Clark burned out the bulb!

The 'story question' here would be:

Why did he burn the bulb? :-)

For some reason I keep thinking the light that doesn't work is in Lois's refrigerator. I'll think on it some more...
