I'm curious. What do you think a Disney-fied version of Lois and Clark would be like? Assuming that Disney, for whatever reason, either didn't know that the public at large already knows the original materials, or just didn't care.

Or, suppose The LnC universe's own version of Disney made a movie about Superman?

I just wonder, sometimes. What do y'all think?

Well, Disney already based Hercules on Lois and Clark, so I figure they'd base Lois and Clark on Hercules.

Perhaps. I was just thinking of the tendency to discard the original materials (especially the unsavory bits) and throw in some broadway-style musical numbers, animal sidekicks, and tack on a happy ending.

Hmmmm. Interesting. What unsavory bits about Lois and Clark would Disney want to protect its young audience from? Well, there is Jason from Superman Returns, of course - not that the boy himself is unsavory, but the unmarried act which created him would be deemed absolutely unsuitable. And what sort of a happy ending would be tacked on?

Hmmm. I don't think the LnC show needs much work by Disney. The movies, though, that's another matter!

Animal sidekick for Disney's Superman movie?

Ann (who wonders if Jason would be part of the story at all, in which case a Lois and Clark wedding would be necessary before conception - also wondering what song and dance numbers would be there in Disney's Superman movie)
