Clark Vs The Gremlins.
Clark Vs The Hulk.
Clark Vs Superman's Stunt Double.
Clark Vs Angelus (From Buffy/Angel).
Clark Vs The Smurfs.
Clark Vs The Daleks (From Doctor Who).
Clark Vs Lord Voldemort (From the Harry Potter series).
Clark Vs The Mask.
The Venom Suit from Spider-Man is worn by Clark instead, and Clark has to fight it and it's new host.
Clark gets caught in a posistion that makes it look like he's coming on to an uninterested Jimmy by Lois, Perry and Ralph. Ralph tell the whole newsroom Clark is gay, and he must convince Lois he's not. (But Ralph is, and is trying to seduce Clark). Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Ralph finds out CK=S and tries to seduce him.
Lois finds out Clark is Superman, and starts a life of crime.

That's all I can think of for now.....

Ha! CKWB - check out the Round Robin fic that Classicalla is posting if you want to see some weird ideas get tossed around. Especially if you'd like to see something with the Smurfs in it. They make an appearance in the story eventually.
Posted By: Classicalla Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/14/06 12:28 PM
Yes, they are weird and fun, and Superman definitely gets to face some odd villains, indeed - including a rampaging Elvis, the Borg, a naughty lady, and even the Smurfs!! Read it! We all promise, you will not regret it!!!! Oh yeah, we got the Smurfs....

rotflol

Yikes, the venom suit!! Could that alien actually influence our favorite alien? Yikes, yikes!! Go for it, Lara!

And ouch, the Daleks! That would be a good story. Somebody should write it.

Have any of you been reading the Buffy cross-over - The Many Shades of Heroes
where he is fighting vampires?

The Borg? ROFL! I'm definitely going to read that, then. Hehehe! smile

I've got a couple paragraphs in the Supes Vs. Venom story already. It's a bit dark, but I'm having a ball with this so far! hehehe! laugh

The round robin is called Strange Revelations.

Strange Revelations

Where's the rest?
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/14/06 04:16 PM
And yes, I'm reading the Buffy crossover, it's cool, I'm lovin' it and can't wait for part 7....
Posted By: Classicalla Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/14/06 05:30 PM
I've only posted the first part of Strange Revelations. Parts 2 and 3 are basically ready, but I'm waiting for feedback - hint, hint, hint.

Does Lois get Assimilated?
Posted By: Classicalla Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/19/06 04:03 PM
Sorry, Lois doesn't get assimilated. That would have been a story, eh? Blame it Toc. She fixed the Borg in a most unusual way.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/19/06 05:33 PM
OK, well what about Tempus?
Posted By: LaraMoon Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/19/06 10:14 PM
just a quickie update -- I've got a good bit of the Venom story written. smile I hope y'all don't hate me, though cause in my story, the symbiont wasn't found by Spidey during the Secret Wars... I gave it a completely different origin, even. Eh. Storyteller's prerogative. wink

For now, my working title is (lame!) "Back in Black" (I said it was lame didn't I?... sorry! it just made sense. And don't ask about the song, I don't care for it at all, it just happened that way... Just think about it for a sec!)

I need to finish another story I'm working on before I can put all my energy in this one, but I promise I will soon. smile
Posted By: Classicalla Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/20/06 12:28 AM
I hope it's still a symbiont... Is it??

Oh yeah, it most certainly is. It's still going to end up as Venom, too. Just that I made it originate in the DC Universe, instead of Marvel. With apologies to Stan Lee... LOL!

Don't feel bad at all. Spiderman was made mention of in my story A New Hero.

goofy

So far in Strange Revelations, Clark has faced a rampaging Elvis (a green Elvis) and he sort of faced the Smurfs - but really, how problematic can they be? He's been faced with a Captain Kirk who is enamored with Lois and an angry Scotty (Clark stole his kilt).

He's faced down steam rollers threatening to destroy the world to make an intergalactic highway. (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.)

Just when he thought there was no more Elvis to contend with now he's got a Pink Polka Dotted Piggy Elvis who thinks he is Kermit the Frog to deal with.

An ornery puppy, a hurricane, a desperate housewife and Borg are yet to come!! Oh, and lest I forget - LabRat.

Strange Revelations may sound like it's just utter garbage, but it's actually hiliarious utter garbage...... wink

Thanks, Clark Kent Wannabe. We aim to please.
Posted By: LaraMoon Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/23/06 08:34 PM
definitely hilarious!! I need to go catch up, I haven't had time to read the latest parts yet... I somehow managed to get myself into doing more things than there are hours in a day -- again. Dang! I quit my night job because I never had time for anything else and ended up here just a few weeks later, only to find I'm right back where I started: I don't have time for real life anymore. *lol* Of course, I'm having a MUCH better time over here!!!

...yeah, I know I babble. wink
Posted By: Classicalla Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/29/06 02:57 AM
Please do catch up, Lara. I think you will like how we wrapped it all up....
Posted By: LaraMoon Re: Stupid Ideas - 08/29/06 05:54 AM
hehe - planning to do that on my lunch hour. laugh

Thanks for the reminder!

I've got a substantial portion of the "superman vs venom" thing written, but I'm having second thoughts about finishing it.

The more I hang out here, the more I get the feeling I'm wasting my time trying to write stories that have an a-plot -- and this is... well, it doesn't even have a B-plot, it's just A... I'm likely to bore people to death with it, I'm afraid.
Posted By: Matrix Re: Stupid Ideas - 09/29/06 08:24 PM
You just never know Lara. A lot of the readers are women and prefer the b-plot. I love a good a-plot, but I usually prefer a little romance (doen't need to be smut, just romance) tied up in it too, especially if the romance is angsty (yes, I know, I'm evil).

I think that's why I have so much fun as one of the betas for Sue.

Aren't you writing this story specifically for someone? I'm sure that person will give you fdk... I've written stories before where I didn't figure I'd get any fdk, and I was pleasantly surprised (especially if it's a shorter story... sometimes people just don't seem to have time to follow the long ones...)

Take me for example. I'm so busy writing and doing beta work right now, that I don't have much time to read anything. I have to pick and choose and usually it's the shorter fics that get my attention. However, I have every intention of going back and reading some of the longer ones later, when my muse abandons me and I need a good read to lift my spirits. wink

What I try to tell myself (not always successfully) is - write the story for you... and maybe for your beta(s)... then anything else that comes along is just windfall...

Anyway, there's my 2 cents, for what they are worth. wink

Finish it, Lara, finish it!! I love A plots.

And I love the title, Back in Black.

Amen, to this, DJ:

Dude, A plots are awesome. I have total respect for them, they take so much work and ingenuity. You should go with it.
Posted By: LaraMoon Re: Stupid Ideas - 09/30/06 01:32 PM
Hehehe. Okies then. wink

I'll start by finishing the one I started posting and I'll go back to Venom in a lil bit. Won't be long, there's only like 2 parts left to All Weathered Out but then I'm leaving for a little one week vacation in Paris on Friday...

Will get back to it soon. smile
