The pickup lines here sound much more like Ralph than like Clark.

Geez, those are awful. Hee-Hee. Now, there's a challenge. Have Lois fall for Clark because Superman treats women like Ralph does (as a way not to have anyone associate Clark with Superman, Clark goes in the wrong direction with his disguise.) Clark, on the other hand, is the man we know and love from the show.

So... Superman impersonates Barry? There's a switch. wink

Superman might not end up being a world diplomat or a broker of peace deals, but he never suspected he would ever be asked to do such things in the beginning, now did he? He was only wanted to help out with emergencies.

Of course, Lois would have to have already named him before he started to show this kind of behavior. Perhaps after seeing how she reacts to the sketch artist in NeverEnding Battle, he decides Superman's behavior needs to be modified so Lois isn't so much of a swooning fan.

I think Lois would rename him as Superjerk, or maybe Superslime.

What if Superman only treated Lois in this manner, whenever she fawned over him, but was still respectful to everyone else?

The Superman name had already been picked up and used worldwide, and it was too late to change it. Perry also refused to change it, as Superman's romantic behavior (or behavior in the romance department) had no bearing as him as someone who put out fires and rescued people after a natural disaster.
