Hi there, I'm new, but I've been perusing these boards for a while and I have a song that I'd love to see a video done to - but unfortunately I don't have the programmes on my computer to make one myself.

The song is Josh Groban's 'In Her Eyes'. It's off his latest album, and ever since I first heard it, I thought how perfect it'd be for something to do with L&C. Little did I know at that point in time that this part of these boards existed! I've really been enjoying all the videos, trailers etc on this section. They're all so well done. Keep up the great work everyone!

I suggested it once when I was asking for the trailer to Just Thinkin', because it reminded me how Lois was always on Clark's mind. My volunteer picked something better, but I still think the Sixpence song would make a good video if you go along with the words.

I have a song from Garth Brooks on cd ''she's every woman''. I love that song and it made me thinking of Lois and Clark. I thought it was just such a perfect song for them, that is was something Clark could be thinking of Lois. I'm pretty sure this song hasn't been used befor. And it would be nice if someone could make a Lois and Clark video out of it.

I don't normally consider R&B songs for L&C but I keep hearing this song and I can't get it out of my head. Every time I hear Rihanna and Ne-Yo's "Hate That I Love You" I think of the period after L&C started dating and were fighting/making up all the time because of Clark's "fear of commitment" (which season was that?).

I have some great ideas on how to do this, just lack the know how to make a video or I would do it myselfI am so inspired! I'd be happy to talk ideas, but I think the song almost makes the video! You can progress through Seasons 1-3 during the verses and bring Season 4 in on the last chorus.
Verse One
Lois had some great prim and proper outfits that would start out. Plenty of scenes with Clark watching Lois sitting at her desk. For the first chorus, I know there are some tender scenes of Lois in Season One either looking at Clark with a little affection or it could even be Clark watching her lose her cool over the death of Dr. Platt or talking with Amy or her sister in Smart Kids. Or you could even go with the scene in HiM when Lois is looking down at Clark after he kisses her.

Verse 2

You'd have to start with Cat. Jimmy watching her make her way across the office. Maybe go to the scene where Cat is giving Lois a hard time for dressing up to get the story from the guy who is killed by Mr. Makeup. and to another scene of Clark watching Lois, maybe shaking his head. For the second chorus, you could do scenes from TOGOM have Lois crying over Clark's body and then rushing to hug him when he "comes back to life".
For the repeat chorus, the scen of Perry's friends boat where Clark is watching Lois silhouette in the door and then ending where Lois is patting his chest after dumping the champagne on him. . .

It's just the perfect song!

Has anyone done "You Spin Me Right Round" by Dead or Alive yet? I can almost see it in my head, but, *sigh* insufficient clips.

I was listening to my Kill Bill soundtrack today and I realized I'd like to see a video done with the music track called "Battle Without Honor or Humanity". It's all instrumental, the music that played as O'Ren drives through Tokyo and enters the tea house. I've heard it in quite a few car commercials lately.

Also wouldn't mind seeing a video to my 300 soundtrack, especially the

I just, uh, stumbled onto a video centering around Alex O'Loughlin's beautiful hands (it's all Lara's fault, really) and that got me thinking:

Doesn't our very own Mr Clark Kent (at least as played by Dean Cain) also have beautiful hands?

And shouldn't there be a lot more footage available from over 80 eps of LnC compared to 13 of Moonlight?

So if someone found the time and within her the inclination to actually make a vid featuring Clark's lovely, long fingers, it would be much appreciated

In the Moonlight vid, they took "Slow Hand" by the Pointer Sisters, which is - imho - good lyric-wise but I don't think the song works that well (or would work that well with Clark.)

But there are tons of other songs featuring the word "hand" out there, and to prove it to you, I sorted through 150+ hits for "hand" (title only) on iTunes and picked some songs which might fit, lyric and pace-wise (or so I think). That I listed them does not mean that I espouse them as works of art, I just went for variety

Through this iTunes search, I also learned that Russel Crowe has an album out, title track "My Hand in My Heart" (Russel Crowe & The Ordinary Fear of God), which I wouldn't necessarily recommend for vidding, but which I thought makes a fun fact

Okay, in honor of *ahem* how this month has been designated over in the nside of the boards, I wanted to offer a song.

I'm not a fan of Berlin, but their remake of Prince's Erotic City is really fun. It's got a lot of electroclash, synthie elements, male and female vocals and a really catchy beat--definitely harking back to the 80s. I have it if anyone wants to take a listen.

I think it would go perfect with clips from Pheromone, VD (especially with all the electroclash elements), etc.

I can see someone making a really neat, fun and racy little vid with this song. So like I said, PM me if you want to hear it--I can't stop thinking what a fun vid it will make.

Jenna, your link doesn't work for me for some reason, but I assume the song you are referring to is "Bitch" by Meredith Brooks ("I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother")? If so, a few years ago, I saw one of the best L&C videos I've ever seen set to this song. I don't remember if it was posted to FOLC video or if it was on YouTube, but I don't have a link to it anymore. It specifically stands out in my mind because the L&C scene from "Resurrection," where Lois is in her leather outfit, was set to the "I'm your angel undercover" lyrics, and I thought that was pretty brilliant. I'd love to see that one again. I do vid and post to this site and like to fulfill requests, but I know that if I ever tried to vid this one, I would be subconsciously copying that video.

'All I ask of you' is a lovely duet, but the problem is they don't end up together in the end... Christine ends up with the Phantom... which, when translated to the LnC universe is like Lois ending up with Lex, I think.

Really? I thought Christine ends up with Raoul at the end of the story. Or did you mean at the end of this song? Because, I'm sure the vidders can cut the Phantom's emergence from the shadows at the end of this scene and his reprise of the song from the end, can't they?

Ah, OK, going back and checking the plot, she does end up with Raoul... I suppose you can make it work, but -- I don't know. She pities the Phantom, giving more sympathy towards Lex when you put it in the LnC-verse. At least in the musical, you feel like the Phantom has control over Christine, and I don't really like that when looking at the Lois/Lex relationship. But perhaps I'm reading too deeply. It is a lovely song that I've sung MANY times.

But since this is only be a vid song request and not a story request, wouldn't the song by itself (without implying the same plot as the Phantom) work?

Wait, a gosh darn minute! You don't think Lex has control over Lois? He cons her into believing he's a good man. He tears her away from her friends and her career. He turns the once strong Mad Dog into a whimpering puppy who can't hold her own in a conversation with Mrs. Cox? How does Lex NOT have control over Lois? One could also argue that the reason that Lois didn't turn Lex in during Phoenix was because she felt sorry for him.

Oh definitely... I just don't like to DWELL on that little aspect of Lois' character. She totally got sucked into Lex's web.
