And I have a new video clip. It's a crossover between Lois & Clark and Desperate Housewives, a Lois/Susan crossover with lots of Lois/Clark and Susan/Mike clips. Even because I wanted to use this song for a while but I couldn't decide for Susan or Lois since the song fits them so... that's why I did a Teri Hatcher crossover.

I know Lois is not a damsel in distress (not all the time because she knows how to save herself) but the Lyrics fit with her too.

First, I like the lyrics/scene matches, you had some great ones in there, like the rose petals. I also really liked the song, even though I had some trouble understanding all the lyrics and had to Google them. You did a great job on the cuts and I loved the intro flashcard.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, because I do like the video, but I just don't feel that the lyrics fit Lois. They are absolutely perfect for Susan and Mike, though. I mean: "Me? I'm just a housewife/So sad and all alone/Desperate for a strong man/To help me fix my home"--it's like the song was written for those two. But I just can't see how they fit the L&C dynamic and Lois.

On a technical note, at the end of the video the words spoken by the Mary Alice voice-over are so quiet I had to turn up the volume high on my computer in order to hear them. Maybe you could fix that?

I hope you don't take offense at my feedback, because it's really just a matter of interpretation and differing viewpoints, I guess .

I took a look at the Desperate Housewives soundtrack while I was at the mall today and realized that the song actually was written specifically for DH and Susan, so the fact that the lyrics are so fitting is not such an amazing coincidence after all
