Every once in a *very* long while I like to have a small bottle of BC fruit cider - they make the nicest pear and peach and raspberry and apple ciders with a low or slightly higher alcohol content, (I think they are low - one is .05%, the other is .7%, if memory serves - but then, I know nothing about alcoholic drinks, LOL) and when I'm home, especially if I go out to a nice restaurant that carries them, I will have one. Nice little treat, and I wish I could split a bottle with you, Rat - you deserve it
EDIT: It occurs to me that this kind of cider is prolly *very* different from the kind of cider you were referring to, Labby. Knowing that cider in Britain is different from what I think most of us in North American think of as cider... But I still think you'd like it, if you don't think of it as British cider and just another interesting drink to try
