Hi all!

I'm trying to install mIRC - I've got the program downloaded, but every time I go to install it, the program freezes. It goes most of the way through the install wizard, but gives me a "not responding" message before it finishes.

My computer is a Windows XP (not sure if that matters).

Anyway, if anyone can suggest anything that could help me, I'd really appreciate it!

It's possible that you have a bad download. I had the exact same thing happen to me once here at an Internet café, when I downloaded it. It worked till the end, then it froze, and wasn't completely installed. I finally brought the download I had saved on my computer and that worked fine--and I've downloaded and installed it since with no problems. But somehow that one time was not working at *all*. So my recommendation is to download it again, maybe from a different mirror, and see if it'll work.
