Probably since PoA, I felt the movie followed the book closer.

The atmosfere has grown darker and for a kid some scenes could be scary.

Thoughts?

A lot of ditto from me. I absolutely loved it, but did warn my mother that it might be a touch scary for my young cousins if she took them.
