Hey all! So I was wondering what the member levels are in order. I know it starts off with blogger and then I think there was a freelance writer, then Hack from Nowheresville or maybe there was another on in there somewhere. I see so many different levels and was just wondering what order they went in. Obviously Editor in Chief is last. Not sure where Merriweather, Pulitzer, Top Banana, Columnist, Beat Reporter, etc. go although I can sort of guess.

Anyone know? huh

What are user titles?

From the faq above:

Personally, I can hardly believe that Tank doesn't have a special title, given all he's contributed to these boards over the years. His story "To Protect And Serve" was the one which first brought me to the archive, and from there eventually to the message boards. Would it be out of place for me to suggest that we grant him some recognition for all of his accomplishments?

If I could make the first suggestion, I would - without any intended irony - like to propose for Tank Wilson the title of "Lovable Curmudgeon." I hope this expresses my appreciation for his always insightful comments - even if he doesn't like kids - and his wonderful stories, both short and long, both the individual efforts and his many collaborations with others.

Please let me know if this suggestion is in the wrong place or is out of order. I assure all that my intentions in this matter are pure.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear "Tank" is all those Tank-endings laugh laugh laugh

Somehow it's become a Lois and Clark Dictionary word

TANK ENDING - A sudden twist in any part of the story (usually in the climax/ending of the story); a deathfic; an irretrievable/ unsolvable/ bizarre situation in a story which usually requires the Wendy antidote laugh

Yeah, Tank Ending sure does spring to mind. I thougth of giving him the title "Ending". Because, obviously, he already is Tank. goofy
