Okay - so I haven't been around [again] a whole lot lately, but there is a new little FoLC!

Christopher Joseph showed up 7/25/07, 30 days early. He's doing just fine - no problems with his lungs or blood sugar or anything. He did have a bit of trouble keeping his temp up at first but nothing abnormal for a little guy that early. He's not really nursing yet, but again, that's because he's so early and should be fine in a couple weeks.

He was 6lbs 6oz and 21" long. Am really glad he decided to show up early!

Labor started about 6am and he arrived at 1045am. I missed my last two days of summer classes and had to have someone cover my finals!

He hasn't watched much Lois and Clark yet, but Mom has been thinking about it a lot lately .

He did watch most of S1 Disk 1 with me and I also reminded my sister that she owes me S4 sometime soon [she bought me 1-3 for bdays and such, bday is coming up].

I'm currently rewatching NCIS, then House as House's last season just came out. Then JAG S4 which just came out [both once my sister is done with them since they are hers]. THEN I'll have to back to my LnC.

He's had some trouble gaining weight - and at 5 weeks may not be back up to his birth weight of 6lb 6oz. He was 6lb 2oz last Friday. However, that was up 3.5oz since last Tuesday so they've taken 'hospital' out of our vocabulary for the moment. He just won't wake up enough to nurse well more than once or twice a day so I'm nursing then bottle feeding etc. His due date was last Friday so hopefully he'll start waking up better soon.

LOL! Sis got me hooked while I was in my first trimester. All I could do was lay on the bed! Between exhaustion and nausea, I couldn't do anything! I work from home while taking care of the kids so I have them on in the background on a regular basis. She buys them, I borrow. This time of year is a big time for DVDs coming out in time for the new season. She also has me watching Criminal Minds [but not until the last season comes out on DVD because apparently I missed important stuff], and Bones and something else I can't remember. Ah well... Gives me something to do while I'm up in the middle of the night with DS!!
