I had that happen earlier but it seems to be fine now.

I was having the same problem, I sent my periodic Alarm Email to poor Elena for help, but now it seems fine to me too!

I noticed you are using the "php" link. Have you tried using the page with "cgi" at the end? It's the same page.

Malu, thanks for the link. The only way I was able to access the mbs this morning was because Wendy sent me the direct url to the above post from Annette and from that post, I was able to link onto the main frontpage.

I've bookmarked your link now, so should be able to access the frontpage direct until the problem is, hopefully, fixed.

I got on the message board from the link on the archive.

You can always just come in through the main link:
www.lcficmbs.com
and then click on the image to access the message boards.

That way you don't have to memorize (or bookmark) the page with "cgi" or "php" at the end.

It seems Annette has been trying to work around the issues. The board was in maintenance this afternoon. Thanks, Annette!

UPDATE: The issue has not been fixed yet.

Malu, the main link won't work for me, for some reason. Wendy suggested that solution to me this morning, but I tried it and it was no good.

Yes, the main link takes me to the homepage, but when I click on that, all I get is the same 'fatal error' message.

It looks as though the issues are more problematic than Annette first thought and she's not getting much aid from the people who should know what the issues are. Doesn't help that she's feeling so poorly with flu. So, for the moment it's ongoing.

At least we don't seem to be losing any data this time around - which is one blessing, I guess!

LabRat, when you type in the main link, do you get the address as "www.lcficmbs.com/index2.html"? That's what I get, and when I position the pointer over the image, the link that I get is the one with "cgi". It's strange that different people get different links.

Do you use Firefox?

By the way, Annette, I hope you get better from the flu. I haven't been feeling 100% myself (allergies, I think). Luckily, it's spring break, so I can rest a little bit.
